On a shoot opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt. Accidentally cut her hair somehow. Was put in charge of finding a new photo double for her with similar hair. Cast Jason Segel. Used Sharpie markers to do his wound makeup to match hers. Elton John was producing and wanted me off set because I was wearing jeans and refused to change. |

So, Stella McCartney is now following me on Twitter. Clearly this is stems from auto following people who use the key word PETA... My use of the key word PETA: "So, PETA is some kind of giant practical joke I'm just not getting right? http://bit.ly/rHbP3" Lets see how long this follow lasts... |

I use to go a gym in Halifax and never got around to finding one that wasn't stupidly expensive here. Plus there really aren't any near my normal paths of travel, and if it's out of the way, I'm going to forget to go. So I've started looking for decent, easy to do at home workouts and found:

"Be prepared for the most incredible full body workout you will ever experience! The 300 Spartan Workout is taking the world by storm and is widely acclaimed for producing amazing results within a short period of time. By using natural body weight conditioning exercises and a unique, non-stop superset concept, the 300 Spartan Workout unleashes your natural growth hormones and jump starts an incredible fat burning metabolism change that will create a powerful, ripped and chiseled look to your body. World Class strength and conditioning trainer, Steve Maxwell, has created 3 different workout levels for the 300 Spartan, so regardless of your present physical condition you can reap the benefits of this amazing workout routine and get started now! For each workout level basic, intermediate and advanced, Steve teaches all of the exercises individually so you can learn to perform them correctly during the actual 300 Spartan workout. Then Steve takes you through the entire 300 routine so you can see how the workout should be performed from start to finish. People all over the world are raving about the gains they are achieving by using this highly effective method of training."
It's based on the training used to for the a certain movie of similar name. I'm not a huge fan of 300, But the stunt team that worked on 300 also did the stunts in Outlander, those dudes were cut out of wood. Plus the dude has trained Brad Pitt, so, that's a selling point... Wish me luck. |

Packing this morning to come home from Halifax I had a thought- I think will build a more utilitarian wardrobe, as it is I have a closet full of random odds and ends. Cowboy Shirts and Tattoo Parlour T-Shirts share space next to Vintage Suits and French Cuff Dress Shirts. Army Surplus sits beside Designer Lables. My plan as it stands is to build a wardrobe of plain Black T-Shirts, Grey T-Shirts and white Dress Shirts to be worn with Black or Grey Suits with a couple pairs of decent Jeans.
Just a working idea. |

I'm gonna come out say that I think Billy Bob's little tantrum at The Q is awesome. So full of egomaniacal actor bull shit, yet passive aggressive and BAT SHIT CRAZY.
I kept waiting for Jian Ghomeshi to just call him on his shit, he comes close, but keeps it professional. I guess his busker back ground gave him the power to deal coolly with hicks being mean to him.
Ps- I fucking miss Moxy Früvous. |

I while ago AXE came out with a body spray; "Bergamot". I figured, wow, that is surprisingly un-dudely, using the original ingredient in Eau de toilette, a main ingredient in Earl Grey Tea. The whole thing just brought to mind images of Dandies. Plus, the Fox Mulder in me was intrigued because of it's occult roots too, being used in Hoodoo for control or command spells (fitting, considering the AXE marketing ideology)
I was excited. But. It smelled like AXE.
Now they have come out with this "Chocolate" variant of AXE. Chocolate? How un-dudely is that! Awesome I thought, that is the most un-frat boy scent I could think of them actually being able to convince frat boys to buy.
I was excited. But It didn't smell like chocolate.
BUT.
It didn't smell like AXE! It was warm, soft and a little spicy.
I bought some of the body wash.
So now I have to start drinking beer-bongs, wearing football jerseys and treating women like objects? |

Dear spam,
I think we are drifting apart. You are never going to get me to open your letters, let alone follow your fishy links or download your attachment with subject lines like "Where are those files", "Urgent! The deadline in near", and "From your BOSS"
You seem to think I am a business man. But as Jigga and I keep trying to point out; I'm not a businessman, I'm a Business, man.
Please return to making me question the size of my penis. You might have better luck there.
With Fondness,
Jeff |

In a warren of secret military bunker tunnels; Under Sears in the Halifax Shopping Centre. Zombies attack, the only weapons are Viking armour, shields, swords, and axes in a field accessible by one of the tunnels. It is winter. Instead of a coat I am wearing a black micro-fleece blanket like a cape, the blanket is trimmed with a border of leopard print. We retreat to a dingy New York style apartment where I take cover with my cat in the cupboard under the sink. After the attack subsides we are back in the mall where I buy a caramel banana Orange Julius and a Pretzel Hotdog at a jewelry store which is run by old boss from the Sun Glass Hut. I pay by debit. The debit machine prompts as series of very personal yes or no questions. I make a joke about it finding out my Thetan levels, which I have to explain by saying how the debit machine was like taking a personality test.
Then I wake up. |
